When you need to cancel or rebook a scheduled visit, we expect you to contact our office no later than 24 hours before the scheduled visit. This allows us a reasonable amount of time to determine the most appropriate way to reschedule your care as well as giving us the opportunity to rebook the now vacant appointment slot with another patient. If it is less than 24 hours before your appointment and something comes up, please give us the courtesy of a phone call.
Patient "no-shows" and appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled start time will be billed the cost of the visit. Note that insurance companies cannot be legally billed for a no-show or cancellation where you did not attend any part of the session. You will be financially responsible for the full cost of appointments not cancelled or rescheduled with appropriate advance notice. Payment will be expected on or before your next scheduled appointment.
Failure to attend your scheduled appointment could cause a lapse in your care and/or medications. Any prescription that requires an early refill will be subjected to a $50.00 administration fee. Any refill requests should be submitted via email to our Patient Care Liaison. You will also be required to schedule an appointment at the time of the request.
